Dear aLife.,
I thought that I share with you some important thought as we reflect our performances in 2008. If I may say, it’s very obvious how our awesome GOD has blessed aLife tremendously! My question now is this, “What have we done in 2008, that we can do better this year?”
Many had come to my mind, but ONE stands out … let me share it to you:
I believe,, because we have ‘planted’ so much!!! My point is this., the amount of our harvest is ‘dependent’ on the amount of the seeds we planted! In other words: we should not judge our performance by the “harvest” we reap, BUT by the “seeds” we plant!
We need to continue to PLANT seeds of prayers, seeds of hope, seeds of support, seeds of missions, seeds of maturing, seeds of serving, seeds of helping, seeds of loving, seeds of teaching, seeds of sharing, seeds of inviting, seeds of caring, seeds of follow-up, seeds of faith, seeds of generosity, seeds of kindness, seeds of courage, seeds of righteousness, seeds of cup-of-thoughts, … there’s so much wonderful seeds out there!
IMPORTANT LESSON: As we can see, the key to harvest is in the seeds… so, let us plant more seeds this year!!!
We know already the parable of the sower (Matthew 13) and we learned that there are many kinds of soil., i.e. along the path, rocky, thorny, and healthy. The lesson here is, whether we like or not, some of these seeds will fall on these types of soil. BUT the good news is that we are NOT limited by the kinds of soil,, but by the available sowers! We need to recruit and develop more “missional” sowers !!!
By His grace., please join me, support me, and help me … plant more seeds! Thank you …
In prayers,
